Lega Mask Lega people, Congo Republic 10.5 inches, wood and natural pigment Mask of this style were originally used by association members to symbolize the attainment of higher levels of ethical teaching. Today they are one of the most common African masks. This one has a nice look, despite some small breaks around the edges and the left eye.
