some kind of animal carved in wood-- 11 inches tall, dark
brown in color, the eyes are painted, and there is some red

A: You've
scored again! This is quite a nice piece, especially for serious
collectors of Balinese masks. It's a Barong Kambling (goat), one
of the rarer protective animal spirits of villages. The boar
mask is the one we see most often. |
