Rangda mask Bali, Indonesia 43 inches with hair, leather, cloth, mirrors, gilded leather Rangda is an important demon in Balinese mythology and frequently appears in several dances and other settings. This is a very well-made mask that was probably intended for use in the popular "Barong and Keris" show that is regularly performed for tourists. Please note the quality of detailing. I have never seen a Rangda this well made in a shop or on eBay. This mask is illustrated in the book, "Masks from Around the World." SOLD
