European Clown mask Venice, Italy 11.5 inches, natural wood Signed "D. E. Marchi" of Venice and dated "84," this highly abstracted mask is truly a work of art. In fact, it is one of the most complex and difficult wood carvings I have ever seen. On the bottom there is a small, brass-lined hole for a museum-style display stand. This is the second (and only other) of these incredible pieces I have been able to offer. I doubt if I will find another one again. SOLD
