This is a brand new mask that any Guatemalan would love to wear in the Dance of the Conquest. Masks that are intended for tourists are made to look old, whereas the authentic ones are usually freshly painted. Pedro de Alvarado was a Spanish general, and as such, represents the main Guatemalan conquistador who fights against the Mayan warriors. Most Spanish characters are depicted as having blond hair and blue eyes in the Guatemalan dances. Unused, but quite authentic.
