Devil masks can vary quite a bit in Guatemala, and this one has a surprisingly theatrical eye treatment. There were once two horns attached, but the hair has been painted over. You can just barely see the impressions and nail holes on each side of the forehead. This unique mask is used and slightly damaged. Part of the right side was broken off and crudely glued together. Painted with poster colors, not enamel.
