The are several Negritos in the famous Baile de los Mexicanos, as well as many other characters, including the long-nosed cowboys. They almost always have big grins on their faces. But Convites and Gracejos can also have big crazy smiles and eyes. This mask is home made, rather than a moreria rental. I think it well demonstrates the natural creativity of ordinary Guatemalans.
