Mummer’s mask Philadelphia, PA 16 inches, painted latex rubber with colored cloth This is actually a festival mask, or part of a uniform. Similar to a movie or TV monster, this bazaar mask was worn by a marching band in the famous Mummer’s Day Parade in downtown Philadelphia, New Year’s Day, in the 1980’s. The mouth has a large opening so the wind instruments could be played. It was pictured in the book, "Masks from Around the World." It has gotten a little brittle over the years and should not be worn any more. However, it should display well. $135
