An old festival mask depicting the god Dhumma. Beautifully detailed and colored, it is one of the nicest I have seen. You definitely do not find these older examples often. The Nepalese faithful produce masks of different gods and goddesses including Ganesh, Bhairav, Durga and many more. With real eye holes, it was intended for, and may have been worn at festival time. Strong construction.
