Mexican Devil mask Pastorela dance, Guanajuato, Mexico 16 inches, wood, animal horn, paint The devil masks from this state in the central part of Mexico tend to be pretty scary, often with snakes coiled around the eyes and nose. It is old, with lots of beetle holes and places where the paint has rubbed off. No, the beetles are not still in residence. Modern screws have been recently added to secure the horns. I will remove them for shipping. SOLD
