Carved by Lino Mora, it is one of several of "dark forces" characters that are commanded in the dance by a very large Pilate. Other dark forces include a devil, skull, pirate, moor, etc. All of them are very scary and quite special stylistically. This Indian has been used many times. In my opinion, Don Lino is one of Mexico’s best carvers. A must for any serious collection.
