8 inches, painted wood

I believe this mask to be quite old, perhaps circa 1800. The worm damage, which is considerable, occurred a very long time ago. Paint looks old and faded and some of it has flaked off.  It is by far the oldest wooden* mask in my collection...  worthy of a museum.  

*I do have a preColumbian stone mask that is older.
