This is a finely carved and painted Haida mask that is signed inside by D. Wilk and dated 1978. Mask is beautifully sculpted in the naturalistic Haida style, with good form-line painting on the forehead. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Also note how the the tool marks on the rear contrast with the smooth contours of the face.
