Native American shaman mask Inuit people, Alaska 13 inches, wood Images of some early masks collected in the Alaska area suggest that the interesting half-moon shape surrounding the face actually represents the jaws of an animal. Probably made out of driftwood, it is light weight and well scared with worm holes. The dark drawing was burned on, not painted. SOLD
