Bidayu people, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo 9.5 inches, painted wood, leather We think this would have been used as part of a circumcision ceremony by the indigenous Bidayu culture. These white-faced masks have little color other than red lips. Both colors are done with natural pigments, not commercial paint. A chunk of wood is missing from the forehead.
