Buaku is a not-so-frightening
deamon from the Kyogen tradition. But there are other characters that
look similar-- Matahei, the town drunk, and Kentoku, the fool.
Regardless, this is a good example of a classic Japanese mask that could
be used in performance. This one is in perfect condition and unused.
