Cold weather mask USA 10 inches, rubber-coated cloth over two layers of felt cloth Made by Crown Purse, Inc., under contract to the US Government. There are flaps for both the nose and the mouth that can be opened or left closed. It is lined with felt, and has contract info on the chin flap. First used by the Army in Northern climates, the US Navy had them during the Vietnam era, most likely on submarines or surface ships for personnel while on deck in winter. SOLD
