Called the officer’s ShMS field protective mask, it was issued to Soviet NCO’s and officers only. One of the most intimidating gas mask designs I have ever seen. This item is pictured in the book "Masks from Around the World." The accessory parts, including tube, 40mm canister, and carrying bag, are missing.
