Amazon King Mask

The hood is beaten tree bark and the mask is made with light wood. Colored ink is made with natural plants. The overall length is 21 inches with hood and wood included. Made by the Yanomani people before the gold and diamond rush practically ended their culture on the banks of the Rio Negro close to the Venezuelan border. I think this mask was inspired by a Biblical king taught to them by Christian missionaries.
