Beyond the Andes in Eastern Peru is the start of the great Amazon basin and the home of the Shipibo and Conibo Indian cultures. Though better known for their pottery and textiles, they also carve masks. I believe this is supposed to be a big monkey. It looks to be new and is in perfect condition.
