I don’t know if gourds are a traditional mask-making material, or if items like this are strictly decor items. Either way, it is wonderful how conveniently this dried vegetable has been transformed into a smiling face. The colors are natural gourd skin plus a stained area and the exposed under layer... no paint or varnish. Very decorative.
